This 3 Point Horizontal Vertical Tractor Wood Splitter gives the operator the option to split wood in either the horizontal or vertical position. The horizontal position is perfect for splitting small to medium size logs while the vertical position is perfect for splitting heavy, large logs. This splitter can be run off the auxilliary hydraulics or by adding the PTO pump to this splitter it can be run off the tractor PTO. This splitter is available in 16, 20, and 30 ton options. It comes standard black in color with category 1 pins, however it can be changed out to category 2 pins. Your hoses are included but not the quick couplers given the differences in hydraulic fittings from tractor to tractor. Cycle time for this splitter runs between 10-15 seconds depending on the GPM of your hydraulics or the rpm of the PTO.

I can honestly say that our 30 ton skid steers.com splitter is probably our best investment yet. As a small, family owned firewood business, it has really sped up the process for us. We no longer have to struggle to move large rounds. It has no problems splitting thru rounds of any species. For boiler wood, it can make the perfect size pieces.
